This is for Kris

Kris requested on her blog that I post, so here I go.

I don't have that much to say. There's not much going on here. We had friends over for dinner last week(Tim & Asher, former housemates of Todd's), then we went out for dinner with friends on Wednesday (Micah & Sarah, a coworker of mine and his wife), and then we had friends over for dinner last night (Nick & Amanda, friends of Todd's). It's nice to be having people around. I've been pretty lonely lately. But even hanging out with people here doesn't replace my friends from home. I miss all you guys!

Todd's knitting as a part of his current school assignment. That's exciting to me.

Our apartment is clean, which is rare and nice. I've been buying stuff to make the bathroom even more ducky. I'll post pictures eventually.

We bought season 1 & 2 of 24. We already had season 4. That's pretty much all we do. Well, that and Seinfeld which we got season 5 & 6 for Christmas.

So, now I'm off to watch 24 and to knit (can't tell you what - it's a gift!)

And then there was a PIG.

I've been saying for a while that I want a pet pig. So my mom arranged to borrow a piglet from our neighbour so I could play with it. It was so cute! And stinky. I have been cured of the desire for a pet pig, but it was fun at the time.

Todd called the picture of Jess and the pig "Two Ferkles." I told him he earned my German respect.

Christmas Photos #3

We had Christmas dinner with our "family" from accross the road. Morgan fell asleep promptly after eating. So cute.
Then there's a pic of Morgan and Burr.
And lastly, Todd dancing with Chenille. She loves him more than any other human alive.

Christmas Photos #2

The next morning we opened gifts with Todd's family. Todd wouldn't get out of bed so his brother came and literally kicked him out.

Christmas Photos #1

Todd and I were able to go home for 6 days! at Christmas. I never thought I'd be able to get that much time off work but I was lucky. We rented a car (which turned out to be a huge fiasco - I'll spare you the details, except to say that it involved a lot of freaking out, a lot of phone calls, and me wandering a Narnian forest and having to scale a cliff).

While at home, we first opened presents with my family, Chritmas Eve morning:

Here's us with our sleep faces. I got this hat for Christmas, and Todd's wearing a ribbon.
That's my brother The Jedi, holding a little purse which contains his gift from me.
